COOKING TIPS & RECIPES
HOW TO GET A FORKING GOOD RESULT
SAUSAGES
Because FORKING GOOD are raw sausages, it is important not to use too high temperatures when grilling or frying.
It will only take a short time following these steps to get a great sausage.
DEFROST - POACH - GRILL/FRY METHOD
- Defrost them, put the packet, unopened in a bowl of cold water or leave them in the fridge for a few hours
- When they are defrosted, boil some water in a saucepan and poach them for 3-4 minutes so they are cooked through - this ensures they hold their shape and grill or fry perfectly
- Grill or fry on low heat, turning frequently to get good caramelisation all over
- Now you're ready - enjoy!
DEFROST - RAW - OVEN/GRILL/FRY/ METHOD
- Defrost them, put the packet, unopened in a bowl of cold water or leave them in the fridge for a few hours
- Oven-grill - set oven/top heat 175°C, grill for 12-15 minutes, turn 1 or 2 times to get even caramelisation
- Grill or fry on medium heat (if it's too hot, they will burst), turning frequently for around 10 minutes to get good caramelisation all over
- Enjoy!
MEATBALLS
FORKING GOOD meatballs are easily cooked from frozen.
Air-fryer:
-
Put the meatballs in a suitable paper (specific for air-frying) base
